We Want Chris Dorner ALIVE! "Let the streets be the jury..."
We want to know the truth. The truth will not be known to the American public if Mr. Dorner is murdered and denied his right to a fair trial. LAPD and other police departments across the United States stand to lose much needed credibility if this delicate fiasco is not handled with care! One of their finest not only turned on them but is out to do them dirty as was done unto him. Mr. Dorner's original Facebook manifesto or "indictment" has demonstrated that Black Americans have finally learned how to use modern media to champion their cause and put local authorities on the defensive. The authorities have their voice in the established media, and we have our voice in citizen journalism! Stay tuned. | Chris Dorner, former U.S. Marine and L.A. Police Officer is wanted for whistleblowing and murder. A $1,000,000 bounty has been posted by the LAPD for information leading to his capture and arrest. |

| My Experiences With Chinese Racism | Keyword: China,Africa,Blacks,Racism |
|
One day while riding on a public bus in Shantou City, a sourthern Chinese city where I teach English in a Chinese school, I overheard a father say in Chinese to his five-year-old son, "A black devil! Makes me scared." The kid laughed then turned around to stare at me. I went totally off on that man in Chinese calling him a yellow devil, a racist, and everything else I could think of. I continued by saying I intended to write every Black publication in the world encouraging people of African descent to boycott Chinese products. The man immediately looked embarassed and started apologizing, claiming he was't racist. However, I wasn't feeling conciliatory and didn't accept. I had had enough of Chinese racism. - January 15, 2013.

| Out Of Print Songs Available on YouTube | Keyword: Old Songs, YouTube, Content |
|
Recently, I've been spending some of my spare time surfing user-generated content on YouTube. I've specifically focused my YouTube search on old R&B and Hip Hop songs published 20 to 28 years ago, and I am impressed with what I have found. I was unaware prior to my surfing that YouTube users have been uploading out of print songs for quite sometime. For instance, I found the original track "It's You" by Al Hudson and One Way. I also found the out of print track "AJ Scratch Meets Davey D" featured on Kurtis Blow's 1985 album "America". There are other non-music related archival treasures available for reference and viewing on YouTube such as the original 1968 and 1965 CBS Evening News broadcast with Walter Cronkite of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. - February 12, 2012

| Know about Cloud Computing | Keyword: Cloud, Servers |
|
In the cloud computing system, there is a significant shift in the workload. The local computers no longer have to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to running applications. Computer networks that make up the cloud handle them instead. Cloud Computing can be described as Internet-based sharing of useful resources such as data and applications. This may also come as a new business model in which the brand by different companies can take advantage of this type of Internet infrastructure based on the lease and also be able to start using it similar to putting in place. - November 5, 2011

| The 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Recipients | Keyword: Women, Causes |
|
The third woman I interviewed for her opinion on the event was an immigrant from Mali, West Africa who said she had not heard anything about it but considered the news to be interesting though she felt one of the recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize, Ellen Sirleaf Johnson, to be "America's mouthpiece" in West Africa. The fourth and last person I interviewed for this article was a Black American man from Dayton, Ohio... - October 24, 2011

| Should African-Americans vote for President Obama? | Keyword: Unemployment, Politics |
|
Considering that African-American youth are suffering from a national unemployment rate as high as 46% many people are questioning the effectiveness of Obama's leadership. African-Americans are not a monolithic people; however, Obama did receive the majority of the Black vote in 2008 to become the first non-White president of the Western world. In our forums, a new member posting under the username Intellect has initiated a discussion asking Barutiwa readers "Do you think African-Americans should vote for Obama in 2012?" Well if you're interested in seeing our President work toward improving the Black unemployment rate we think you should register with our site and voice your concerns under this topic. - September 29, 2011.

In 1997, the Pan African News Agency distributed an article produced by the Nigerian media praising the inventor, Ezikiel Izuogu, of Nigeria's first self-made car known as the Z-600. That was big news during the time and many Pan Africanist were excited to know that a Black African country was on its way to becoming an emerging nation.
