Malala Yousaf Zai survived an assassination attempt on her life a year ago when she was only 14-years-old. Her assailants were the Taliban in Pakistan. Western media reported she was shot in the head because she campaigned against keeping girls ignorant and uneducated. Taliban media in Pakistan does not deny the shooting of Malala. They claim she was shot because she was seen associating with U.S. military personnel. They argue U.S. military drones have killed many Pakistani children and they refuse to accept shame for attempting to kill Malala Yousaf Zai. The Taliban's miscalculation is seen as a mean gesture and does not help the cause of Islam. The Holy Qur'an teach Muslims not to allow the wrong doing of others to cause wrong doing. We are happy that the President of the United States and his family has invited Malala Yousaf Zai to the White House for discussion. May Allah (SWT) give Malala a long and prosperous life. Amin.

PlayStation 4 targets 5 million units sold in first year
Bloomberg recently reported that Sony Corp. wants to sell 5 million PlayStation 4 consoles this year. Sony's fiscal year ends March 31, 2014 and the PS4 will debut in North America on November 15th. The PS4 is a console built to be a portal for games, movies and music.
